Saturdays are for....CHOCOLATE!

  This Saturday morning we made a mess in the kitchen.  Just kidding, sort of.  But we did make some delicious Chocolate Cashew Butter Cups!  Here is the recipe and some pics just for fun.







We tried to ladle the mixture but Mommy was a little messy and kept dripping.  Then Sammy had the bright idea to use the turkey baster!  Smart kid.



Yummy goodness.


SCD Peanut Butter Cups 
1 Cup melted cocoa butter (we buy ours from Chocolate Alchemy)
16 oz jar smooth or chunky peanut butter (we used cashew butter)
3/4 cup honey
1Tbs vanilla

Melt cocoa butter in a hot water bath, then add other ingredients and mix until smooth.  Remove from bath and pour about a TBS into lined muffin tin or candy molds.  Refrigerate or freeze to firm and then enjoy.  Store in Freezer. (I copied this recipe from a woman named Carol, I think it was Carol, who posted it on a message board almost 2 years ago.  Sorry I don't have any other info to give credit!)
